Religare Enterprises allots 13000000 Preference Shares

The Share Allotment Committee of Board of Directors of Religare Enterprises Ltd, in its meeting held on April 27, 2011 has allotted 1,30,00,000 Redeemable Preference Shares of Rs. 10/- each ("Preference Share") of the Company for cash at a price of Rs. 100/- per Preference Share including a premium of Rs. 90/- per Preference Share to RHC Holding Private Ltd, one of the Promoter Group Company.

The stock closed the day at Rs.477.50, down by Rs.5.25 or 1.09%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.492.50 and low of Rs.477.50.

The total traded quantity was 0.17 lakhs compared to 2 week average of 0.16 lakhs.
