Marico allots 74500 Shares under ESOP Scheme

The Members of the Corporate Governance Committee of the Board of Directors of Marico Ltd have vide resolution passed through circulation on April 25, 2011 approved allotment of 74,500 equity shares of the Company of the face value of Re. 1 each under the existing Marico Employees Stock Options Scheme 2007.

Consequent to the above allotment, the paid-up share capital of the Company has increased from 61,43,99,550 equity shares of Re. 1 each aggregating Rs. 61,43,99,550 to 61,44,74,050 equity shares of Re. 1 each aggregating Rs. 61,44,74,050.

The stock was trading at Rs.139.85, down by Rs.0.10 or 0.07%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.140.35 and low of Rs.139.40.

The total traded quantity was 3786 compared to 2 week average of 78575.
