Aban Offshore redeems FCCBs worth 5.41 billion Yen

Aban Offshore Ltd has redeemed the outstanding foreign currency convertible bonds ('FCCBs") that were Issued in April 2006 and having an outstanding principal amount of Japanese Yen ("JPY") 5.41 billion, along with redemption premium (aggregating to JPY 6.590 billion or equivalent to Rs. 349 Crores in redemption value), on the due date (i.e.) April 15, 2011.

The stock closed the day at Rs.693.65, up by Rs.3.50 or 0.51%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.704.90 and intraday low of Rs.680.10.

The total traded quantity was 2.88 lakhs as compared to 2 week average of 3.21 lakhs.
