L&T allots 758898 Shares

Larsen & Toubro Ltd has allotted 7,58,898 (Seven Lac Fifty Eight Thousand Eight Hundred Ninety Eight) shares on April 06, 2011 to those grantees who had exercised their options under the Company's Employee Stock Ownership / Option schemes.

The said shares will rank pari-passu with the existing shares of the Company in all respects.

The stock was trading at Rs.1659.50, down by Rs.7.85 or 0.47%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.1676.80 and low of Rs.1649.15.

The total traded quantity was 1.69 lakhs compared to 2 week average of 2.96 lakhs.
