Kotak Mahindra Bank allots 224850 shares

The ESOP Allotment Committee of Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd at its Meeting held on March 31, 2011 has allotted 2,24,850 equity shares of Es. 5/- each, pursuant to exercise of Employee Stock Options.

The shares were allotted under ESOP Scheme Series 2007/ 08 ( 1st Tranche) - 21,550 equity shares, ESOIP Scheme Series 2007/15 (1st Tranche) - 85,000 equity shares, ESOP Scheme Series 2007/15 (2nd Tranche) - 1,11,500 equity shares and ESOP Scheme Series 2007/17 ( 1st Tranche) - 6,800 equity shares.

The stock closed the day at Rs.462.45, up by Rs.11.55 or 2.56%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.463.70 and low of Rs.446.90.

The total traded quantity was 0.76 lakhs compared to 2 week average of 0.80 lakhs.
