AXIS Bank allots 279891 Shares under ESOP

The Committee of Whole-Time Directors of AXIS Bank Ltd has made the allotment of 2,79,891 equity shares of Rs. 10/- each to the employees of the Bank, under ESOP on March 25, 2011.

The paid up share capital of the Bank will accordingly get increased to 41,05,45,843 equity shares from 41,02,65,952 equity shares.

The stock closed the day at Rs.1365.75, up by Rs.49.25 or 3.74%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.1369.75 and low of Rs.1326.90.

The total traded quantity was 2.80 lakhs compared to 2 week average of 1.46 lakhs.
