ITC allots 842960 Shares

ITC Ltd has issued and allotted 8,42,960 Ordinary Shares of Re. 1/- each, upon exercise of 84,296 Options by Optionees under the Company's Employee Stock Option Schemes.

Consequently, with effect from March 22, 2011, the Issued and Subscribed Share Capital of the Company stands increased to Rs. 773,81,44,280/- divided into 773,81,44,280 Ordinary Shares of Re. 1/- each.

The stock closed the day at Rs.172.85, up by Rs.1 or 0.58%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.173.55 and low of Rs.171.80.

The total traded quantity was 12.51 lakhs compared to 2 week average of 7.32 lakhs.
