HDFC allots 699090 shares pursuant to exercise of options under ESOS

Housing Development Finance Corporation Ltd has on March 18, 2011 allotted 6,99,090 equity shares of Rs. 2 each pursuant to exercise of stock options by employees.

Post the above allotment, the paid-up equity share capital of the Corporation would stand at Rs. 293,37,73,380 consisting of 146,68,86,690 equity shares of Rs. 2 each.

The stock closed the day at Rs.620.95, down by Rs.16.40 or 2.57%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.644 and low of Rs.618.

The total traded quantity was 4.02 lakhs compared to 2 week average of 1.91 lakhs.
