Patni Computer Systems allots 91322 equity shares under Stock Option Plan

The Compensation & Remuneration Committee of Directors of Patni Computer Systems Ltd vide resolution dated March 15, 2011 has allotted 13,15,257 equity shares of par value of Rs. 2/- each to certain employees including 91,322 underlying equity shares of par value of Rs. 2/- each to Bank of New York Mellon as a Depository in connection with the issuance of 45,661 American Depositary Shares (ADSs) to foreign based option holders pursuant to the exercise of ADR Linked options granted to them under the Company's Stock Option Plan.

The stock closed the day at Rs.453, down by Rs.2.85 or 0.63%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.456.20 and low of Rs.453.
