ITC allots 6021070 Shares

ITC Ltd has issued and allotted 60,21,070 Ordinary Shares of Re. 1/- each, upon exercise of 6,02,107 Options by Optionees under the Company's Employee Stock Option Schemes on March 15, 2011.

Consequently, with effect from March 15, 2011, the Issued and Subscribed Share Capital of the Company stands increased to Rs. 773,73,01,320/- divided into 773,73,01,320 Ordinary Shares of Re. 1/- each.

The stock closed the day at Rs.168.25, down by Rs.2.95 or 1.72%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.170.85 and low of Rs.167.

The total traded quantity was 4.98 lakhs compared to 2 week average of 9.59 lakhs.
