Lupin allots 52873 Equity Shares

The Allotment Committee of Directors of Lupin Ltd at its meeting held on March 17, 2011 has allotted 52873 fully paid up equity shares of Rs. 2/- each. These shares have been allotted upon exercising of options granted to the employees under Stock option plans of the Company.

In view of the above, the issued and paid up capital of the Company has been increased to Rs. 89,24,02,378 consisting 44,62,01.189 equity shares Of Rs. 2/- each.

The stock was trading at Rs.391.35, up by Rs.1.25 or 0.32%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.394 and low of Rs.386.20.

The total traded quantity was 0.45 lakhs compared to 2 week average of 0.86 lakhs.
