ITC allots 3626420 Shares

ITC Ltd has issued and allotted 36,26,420 Ordinary Shares of Re. 1/- each, upon exercise of 3,62,642 Options by Optionees under the Company's Employee Stock Option Schemes.

Consequently, with effect from March 10, 2011, the Issued and Subscribed Share Capital of the Company stands increased to Rs. 773,12,80,250/- divided into 773,12,80,250 Ordinary Shares of Re.1/- each.

The stock closed the day at Rs.173.30, up by Rs.2.05 or 1.20%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.173.90 and low of Rs.170.50.

The total traded quantity was 10.60 lakhs compared to week average of 11.92 lakhs.
