Idea Cellular allots 625313 equity shares

The ESOS Compensation Committee of Idea Cellular Ltd has vide its circular resolution dated February 25, 2011, allotted 6,25,313 Equity Shares of Rs. 10/- each to the Option Grantees, pursuant to the exercise of Stock Options granted under the Company's Employee Stock Option Scheme, 2006 (ESOS-2006).

Pursuant to the said allotment, the Equity Share Capital of the Company stands increased to 3,302,844,880 equity shares of Rs. 10/- each aggregating to Rs. 33,028,448,800/-.

The stock was trading at Rs.57.50, down by Rs.0.90 or 1.54%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.58.50 and low of Rs.55.65.

The total traded quantity was 2.52 lakhs compared to 2 week average of 19.07 lakhs.
