Lupin allots 43111 Equity Shares

Lupin Ltd has announced that the Allotment Committee of Directors at its meeting held on February 08, 2011 has allotted 43111 fully paid up equity shares of Rs. 2/- each. These shares have been allotted upon exercising of options granted to the employees under Stock option plans of the Company.

In view of the above, the issued and paid up capital at the Company has been increased to Rs. 89,22,96,632 consisting 44,61,48,316 equity shares of Rs. 2/- each.

The stock was trading at Rs.402.70, down by Rs.7.80 or 1.90%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.412 and low of Rs.401.65.

The total traded quantity was 0.53 lakhs compared to 2 week average of 1.63 lakhs.
