ITC allots 6145490 Shares

ITC Ltd has announced that the Company on January 21, 2011 has issued and allotted 61,45,490 Ordinary Shares of Re. 1/- each, upon exercise of 6,14,549 Options by Optionees under the Company's Employee Stock Option Schemes.

Consequently, with effect from January 21, 2011, the Issued and Subscribed Share Capital of the Company stands increased to Rs. 771,74,67,380/- divided into 771,74,67,380 Ordinary Shares of Re. 1/- each.

The stock closed the day at Rs.167.95, down by Rs.1 or 0.59%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.170.25 and low of Rs.167.50.

The total traded quantity was 2.22 lakhs compared to 2 week average of 7.24 lakhs.
