Idea Cellular allots 659126 Equity Shares under ESOS

Idea Cellular Ltd has announced that the ESOS Compensation Committee has at its meeting held on January 24, 2011 allotted 6,59,126 Equity Shares of Rs.10/- each to the Option Grantees, pursuant to the exercise of Stock Options granted under the Company's Employee Stock Option Scheme, 2006 (ESOS-2006).

Further, the Company has note that post the said allotment, the Equity Share Capital of the Company stands increased to 330,22,19,567 equity shares of Rs.10/- each aggregating to Rs. 3302,21,95,670/-.

The stock closed the day at Rs.71.55, up by Rs.2.25 or 3.25%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.73.10 and low of Rs.70.60.

The total traded quantity was 14.09 lakhs compared to 2 week average of 2.72 lakhs.
