AXIS Bank allots 187954 Equity Shares under ESOP

AXIS Bank Ltd has announced that the Committee of Whole-Time Directors of the Bank has on January 18, 2011 made the allotment of 1,87,954 equity shares of Rs. 10/- each to the employees of the Bank, under ESOP.

The paid up share capital of the Bank will accordingly get increased to 41,00,88,474 equity shares from 40,99,00,520 equity shares.

The stock closed the day at Rs.1279.20, up by Rs.51.65 or 4.21%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.1296.55 and low of Rs.1230.

The total traded quantity was 3.35 lakhs compared to 2 week average of 2.42 lakhs.
