GTL allots 148213 Shares under ESOP

GTL Ltd has announced that the Nomination & Remuneration Committee of the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on January 14, 2011, considered and approved allotment of 1,48,213 Equity Shares of Rs. 10/- each for cash at a premium in terms of the ESOP Schemes, upon exercise of option for conversion of Warrants.

Under ESOP 2001 - 500 shares, ESOP 2002 - 15,760 shares, ESOP 2002 Subsidiary - 3,150 shares, ESOP 2004 - 94,453 shares, ESOP 2004 Subsidiary - 12,000 shares and ESOP 2005 - 22,350 shares.

The stock closed the day at Rs.416.45, up by Rs.0.90 or 0.22%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.417 and low of Rs.415.

The total traded quantity was 4998 compared to 2 week average of 7046.
