Sterlite Technologies allots 132174 Shares under ESOP Scheme

Sterlite Technologies Ltd has announced that the Allotment Committee of the Board of Directors of the Company in its meeting held on November 03, 2010 has allotted 1,32,174 equity shares to those grantees who had exercised their options under the Company's Employee Stock Option Scheme - 2006.

Further the Company has announced that, the aforesaid shares will rank pari passu with the existing shares of the Company in all respects.

Post allotment the Shares Capital of the company is 35,63,26,669 equity shares as compared to Existing Share Capital (no) of 35,61,94,495 shares.

The stock closed the day at Rs.83.10, up by Rs.0.70 or 0.85%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.83.95 and low of Rs.82.70.

The total traded quantity was 2.13 lakhs compared to 2 week average of 6.60 lakhs.
