AXIS Bank allots 524762 Equity Shares under ESOP

AXIS Bank Ltd has announced that the Committee of Whole-Time Directors of the Bank, on October 21, 2010, has made the allotment of 5,24,762 equity shares of Rs. 10/- each to the employees of the Bank, under ESOP.

The paid up share capital of the Bank will accordingly get increased to 40,93,65,975 equity shares from 40,88,41,213 equity shares.

The stock closed the day at Rs.1503.90, up by Rs.48.25 or 3.31%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.1509.30 and low of Rs.1460.

The total traded quantity was 1.71 lakhs compared to 2 week average of 1.66 lakhs.
