L&T allots 2856919 Shares

Larsen & Toubro Ltd has announced that the Company has allotted 28,56,919 (Twenty Eight Lakh Fifty Six Thousand Nine Hundred Nineteen) shares on October 18, 2010 to those grantees who had exercised their options under the Company's Employee Stock Ownership / Option Schemes.

The said shares will rank pari-passu with the existing shares of the Company in all respects.

The stock closed the day at Rs.2013.15, up by Rs.23.70 or 1.19%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.2019 and low of Rs.1928.80.

The total traded quantity was 6.98 lakhs compared to 2 week average of 1.72 lakhs.
