Patni Computer Systems allots 85644 equity shares under Company's Stock Option Plan

Patni Computer Systems Ltd has announced that the Compensation & Remuneration Committee of Directors of the Company vide resolution dated October 11, 2010, has allotted 85,644 equity shares of par value of Rs. 2/- each to certain employees including 34,278 underlying equity shares of par value of Rs. 2/- each to Bank of New York Mellon as a Depository in connection with the issuance of 17,139 American Depositary Shares (ADSs) pursuant to the exercise of ADR Linked options.

The stock closed the day at Rs.463.45, down by Rs.5.85 or 1.25%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.480 and low of Rs.454.

The total traded quantity was 1.76 lakhs compared to 2 week average of 1.09 lakhs.
