Cholamandalam Investment allots 9375000 Equity Shares

Cholamandalam Investment and Finance Company Ltd has now announced with reference to the convening of an Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) and the approval of the shareholders at the EGM held on October 06, 2010 respectively, for issue of 93,75,000 equity shares at Rs. 160/- per share aggregating to Rs. 150 crores to investors on preferential basis, that pursuant to the receipt of funds from the investors, the Company on October 12, 2010 has allotted the equity shares.

The allottees include Amansa lnvestments Ltd. (31,25,000 shares), Aquarius Investments Ltd (26,56,250 shares), India Capital Fund Ltd (11,25,000 shares), India Capital Opportunities I Ltd (2,81,250 shares), International Finance Corporation (9,37,500 shares) and Reliance Capital Trustee Limited A/C Reliance Banking Fund (12,50,000 shares).

The stock closed the day at Rs.184.80. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.188.75 and low of Rs.183.10.

The total traded quantity was 0.41 lakhs compared to 2 week average of 0.92 lakhs.
