HDFC allots 617610 shares pursuant to exercise of options under ESOS

Housing Development Finance Corporation Ltd has announced that the Corporation, on September 22, 2010, allotted 6,17,610 equity shares of Rs. 2 each, pursuant to exercise of stock options by employees.

Post the above allotment, the paid-up equity share capital of the Corporation would stand at Rs. 292,02,58,900 consisting of 146,01,29,450 equity shares of Rs. 2 each.

The stock closed the day at Rs.731.60, up by Rs.11.60 or 1.61%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.734 and low of Rs.716.50.

The total traded quantity was 3.01 lakhs compared to 2 week average of 4.56 lakhs.
