Sterlite Technologies allots 578530 Shares under ESOP Scheme

Sterlite Technologies Ltd has announced that the Allotment Committee of the Board of Directors of the Company in its meeting held on September 04, 2010 has allotted 5,78,530 equity shares to those grantees who had exercised their options under the Company's Employee Stock Option Scheme - 2006.

Further the Company has informed that, the aforesaid shares will rank pari passu with the existing shares of the Company in all respects. Post allotment the Share Capital of the company is 35,61,94,495 shares.

The stock closed the day at Rs.98.40, down by Rs.1.35 or 1.35%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.100.15 and low of Rs.97.65.

The total traded quantity was 289075 compared to 2 week average of 289344.
