Teesta Agro Industries to issue 530000 shares to promoters

Teesta Agro Industries Ltd has announced that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on August 30, 2010, has unanimously passed the resolution for issue of 5,30,000 Equity Shares of Rs. 10/- each on preferential basis to Promoters and others subject, however, to the relevant provisions of SEBI (ICDR ) Regulation, 2009 and approval of the Shareholders including.

Further the Company has informed that, the Board has decided that shareholders approval for the above preferential issue will be sought in the forthcoming Annual General Meeting which is going to be held on September 29, 2010, pursuant to Section 81(1A) and other relevant provisions of the Companies Act, 1956 & other rules and regulations made there under.

The stock was trading at Rs.19.15, up by Rs.0.15 or 0.79%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.19.50 and low of Rs.18.50.
