HCL Technologies allots 84320 equity shares

HCL Technologies Ltd has announced that the Employees Stock Option Allotment Committee of the Company has on August 30, 2010 allotted 84,320 Equity Shares of Rs. 2/- each, under the 1999, 2000 and 2004 Stock Option Plans of the Company. Consequent to the said allotment the paid-up share capital of the Company has gone upto 679,388,676 equity shares of Rs. 2/- each aggregating to Rs. 135,87,77,352/-.

The stock was trading at Rs.384.85, down by Rs.7.95 or 2.02%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.394 and low of Rs.384.25.

The total traded quantity was 33858 compared to 2 week average of 79289.
