AXIS Bank allots 511007 Equity Shares under ESOP

AXIS Bank Ltd has announced that the Committee of Whole-Time Directors of the Bank, on Auguts 23, 2010, has made the allotment of 5,11,007 equity shares of Rs. 10/- each to the employees of the Bank, under ESOP.

The paid up share capital of the Bank will accordingly get increased to 40,84,64,915 equity shares from 40,79,53,908 equity shares.

The stock closed the day at Rs.1382.30, up by Rs.16.05 or 1.17%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.1385 and low of Rs.1362.

The total traded quantity was 1.03 lakhs compared to 2 week average of 1.19 lakhs.
