Spicejet raises Rs.296.71 Crores through preferential issue

Spicejet Ltd has announced that the Company has completed its preferential allotment as authorized by shareholders in their meeting held on January 11, 2007. The Company had received subscription at the rate of Rs 52.69 per share from the following allottees:

1. Ewart Investment Ltd.
2. Tata Investment Corporation Ltd.
3. BNP Paribas Arbitrage Fund.
4. Istithmar PJSC
5. KBC Financial Products (UK) Ltd.

In the above process the Company has raised total of Rs 296.71 crores by allotting 56,312,290 shares of Rs 10/- each and at a premium of Rs 42.69 per share.
