Basant Agro to allot 7 million shares on preferential basis

Basant Agro Tech India Ltd has announced that the Board has decided to allot 70,00,000 equity shares on preferential allotment basis to the promoters of the Company subject to the approval of the members at the forthcoming Annual General Meeting of the Company scheduled on August 28, 2010.

The stock closed the day at Rs.7.50, up by Rs.0.04 or 0.54%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.7.86 and low of Rs.7.46.

The total traded quantity was 41741 compared to 2 week average of 63118.
