Religare Enterprises to raise Rs 2000 crores

Religare Enterprises Ltd has announced that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on July 30, 2010, inter alia, has considered and approved subject to shareholders and other regulatory approvals (if any), raising of additional funds through issue of capital upto Rs. 2,000 Crores and constitution of a Committee of Directors to take further steps in this regard.

The stock closed the day at Rs.417.20, down by Rs.0.90 or 0.22%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.421.80 and low of Rs.416.

The total traded quantity was 0.14 lakh compared to 2 week average of 0.13 lakh.
