The India Fund, Inc to pick stake in Sagar Cements Ltd for Rs.190

Sagar Cements Ltd has announced that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on February 09, 2007, has decided to issue 10,00,000 equity shares of Rs 10/- each, at a price of Rs 190/- per share (including a premium of Rs 180/- per share) aggregating to Rs 190.00 millions to The India Fund, Inc a New York based FII, to part fund the on going expansion of the Company's plant.
