Venus Ventures to issue 1 crore shares on preferential basis

Venus Ventures Ltd has announced that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on July 17, 2010, inter alia, has considered to offer, issue and allot upto 1,00,00,000 Equity Shares on Preferential Basis to promoter and/or persons other than promoters subject to the consent of the members.

The Board will convene and conduct an Extra ordinary General Meeting in August 25, 2010 recommending the proposal for preferential issue.

The stock closed the day at Rs.13.08, up by Rs.0.62 or 4.98%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.13.08 and low of Rs.11.92.

The total traded quantity was 104933 compared to 2 week average of 176301.
