Jindal Steel & Power allots 2456922 Shares under ESOS

Jindal Steel & Power Ltd has announced that the Sub-Committee of Directors at its meeting held on June 23, 2010, has allotted 24,56,922 equity shares of Re. 1/- each in accordance with the terms of Employees Stock Option Scheme (ESOS-2005). Consequently with effect from June 23, 2010 the issued, subscribed and paid up share capital of the Company stands increased to Rs.93,39,43,01O (Rupees ninety three crores thirty nine lacs forty three thousand and ten only) divided into 93,39,43,010 equity shares of Re. 1/- each.

The stock was trading at Rs.661.45, down by Rs.10.50 or 1.56%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.671.75 and low of Rs.635.

The total traded quantity was 195824 compared to 2 week average of 231116.
