HCL Technologies allots 588600 Equity shares

HCL Technologies Ltd has announced that The Employees Stock Option Allotment Committee of the Company has on May 07, 2010 allotted 5,88,600 Equity Shares of Rs. 2/- each, under the 1999, 2000 and 2004 Stock Option Plans of the Company. Consequent to the said allotment the paid-up share capital of the Company has gone upto 677,499,320 equity shares of Rs. 2/- each aggregating to Rs. 135,49,98,640/-.

The stock was trading at Rs.388, down by Rs.10.75 or 2.70%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.402.05 and low of Rs.386.50.

The total traded quantity was 79585 compared to 2 week average of 163964.
