Wipro allots 50035 equity shares

Wipro Ltd has announced that Administrative Committee of the Company's Board of Directors vide Circular resolution dated May 07, 2010 resolved to issue and allot 50035 equity shares of Rs. 2/- each pursuant to exercise of the stock options by the eligible employees under Restricted Stock Unit Plan 2004 and Restricted Stock Unit Plan 2005.

The stock was trading at Rs.666.15, down by Rs.5.45 or 0.81%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.673 and low of Rs.656.

The total traded quantity was 138021 compared to 2 week average of 158047.
