Ambuja Cements allots 265625 shares under ESOS category

Ambuja Cements Ltd has announced that the Share Allotment & Investor Grievance Committee at its meeting held on May 06, 2010 has allotted 2,65,625 Equity Shares on exercise of the stock options by the employees.

Under Stock Option Scheme 2005-2006, 25125 Shares were allotted, under Stock Option Scheme 2007 - 9500 Shares were allotted, Stock Option Scheme 2007 (Grant - II) - 7800 Shares were allotted and under Stock Option Scheme 2008 - 2,23,200 Shares were allotted.

The stock was trading at Rs.112.10, down by Rs.4.30 or 3.69%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.116.70 and low of Rs.110.20.

The total traded quantity was 516295 compared to 2 week average of 352095.
