Wipro allots 232763 Equity shares

Wipro Ltd has announced that Administrative Committee of the Company's Board of Directors vide Circular resolution dated April 26, 2010 resolved to issue and allot 232763 equity shares of Rs. 2/- each pursuant to exercise of the stock options by the eligible employees under Restricted Stock Unit Plan 2004 and Restricted Stock Unit Plan 2005.

The stock was trading at Rs.693.10, down by Rs.4.45 or 0.64%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.694 and low of Rs.688.05.

The total traded quantity was 47261 compared to 2 week average of 258478.
