Emmsons International approves issue of 10 lakhs warrants

Emmsons International Ltd has announced that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on April 22,2 010, had considered and approved the issue of 10,00,000 (Ten Lacs) equity warrants at a Price not less than Rs 120/- per Warrant and Subject to the Pricing Method of SEBI as Detailed into Chapter VII of SEBI (ICDR) Regulations, 2009, convertible into equity Shares, to the Promoters/ Promoter's Group under section 81 (1A) of the Companies Act, 1956, subject to approval of the Shareholders in their meeting.

The Board also approved the Notice of Extra Ordinary General Meeting to be held on Friday the May 21, 2010.

The stock closed the day at Rs.131.60, down by Rs.12 or 8.36%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.145 and low of Rs.129.30.

The total traded quantity was 52506 compared to 2 week average of 70029.
