Fortis Healthcare allots 7900 Equity Shares under ESOP

Fortis Healthcare Ltd has announced that the Remuneration Committee of the Company has on April 12, 2010, approved the allotment of 7,900 Equity Shares of Rs. 10/- each, at a premium of Rs. 61/- per share, to the eligible employees, upon exercise of vested stock options, under the "Employee Stock Option Plan 2007" of the Company.

Consequent to the said allotment the paid-up share capital of the Company has gone upto 317,331,509 equity shares of Rs. 10/- each aggregating Rs. 3,173,315,090/-.

The stock closed the day at Rs.169.30, down by Rs.3.30 or 1.91%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.172.85 and low of Rs.169.

The total traded quantity was 276641 compared to 2 week average of 689219.
