AI Champdany allots 12414353 Preference Shares

AI Champdany Industries Ltd has announced with reference to the earlier announcement dated March 25, 2010, about the closing of the right issue of Non-convertible 2% Cumulative Preference Shares of Rs. 5/- each to the Equity Shareholders of the Company, that the Committee of Directors at their meeting held on March 30, 2010, have allotted 12414353 nos Non-convertible 2% Cumulative Preference Shares of Rs. 5/- each to the valid applicants who applied for the said issue.

Further the Company clarify that, said Non-convertible 2% Cumulative Preference Shares of Rs. 5/- each is unlisted securities.

The stock was trading at Rs.24, down by Rs.1.20 or 4.76%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.24 and low of Rs.24.

The total traded quantity was 80 compared to 2 week average of 873.
