Veritas India allots 1425000 shares

Veritas (India) Ltd has announced that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on March 27, 2010, has allotted 14,25,000 Equity Shares of Rs. 10/- each on conversion of warrants, on Preferential basis.

The allottees include Mr. Nitin Kumar (Promoter) - 9,25,000 shares, M/s. Onix Assets Ltd (Non-Promoter Foreign Corporate Body) - 3,00,000 shares, M/s. Aventia Global Ltd. (Non-Promoter Foreign Corporate Body) - 1,00,000 shares, Mr. Aman Bhatia (Non-Promoter) - 40,000 shares, Ms. Neeti Bhatia (Non-Promoter) - 35,000 shares and M/s. Groupe Veritas Ltd. (Promoter) - 25,000 shares.

The stock was trading at Rs.3253.60, up by Rs.154.90 or 5%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.3253.60 and low of Rs.3253.60.
