Axis Bank allots 655278 Equity Shares under ESOP

AXIS Bank Ltd has announced that the Committee of Whole-Time Directors of the Bank has on March 24, 2010 made the allotment of 6,55,278 equity shares of Rs. 10/- each to the employees of the Bank, under ESOP.

The paid up share capital of the Bank will accordingly get increased to 40,51,74,119 equity shares from 40,45,18,841 equity shares.

The stock was trading at Rs.1156.50, down by Rs.4.15 or 0.36%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.1164.50 and low of Rs.1151.

The total traded quantity was 35482 compared to 2 week average of 186491.
