Diamant Investment to allot 2245000 shares

Diamant Investment & Finance Ltd has announced that the Board of Directors of the Company at its adjourned meeting held on March 12, 2010, inter alia, 22,45,000 (Twenty Two Lakhs Forty Five Thousand) Equity Shares of Rs. 10 each fully paid up has been allotted on preferential basis to the persons other than promoters at Rs. 40 per Share in pursuance of resolution passed by shareholders at Extra-Ordinary General Meeting held on March 08, 2010.

The stock was trading at Rs.61.50, up by Rs.4.25 or 7.42%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.62.75 and low of Rs.55.

The total traded quantity was 7879 compared to 2 week average of 12060.
