Patni Computer Systems allots 49851 equity shares under Company's Stock Option Plan

Patni Computer Systems Ltd has announced that the Compensation & Remuneration Committee of Directors of the Company vide resolution dated February 01, 2010 allotted 49,851 equity shares of par value of Rs. 2/- each to certain employees including 22,126 underlying equity shares of par value of Rs. 2/- each to Bank of New York as Depository in connection with the issuance of 11,063 American Depositary Shares (ADSs) pursuant to the exercise of ADR Linked options.

The stock closed the day at Rs.475.55, up by Rs.15.95 or 3.47%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.481 and low of Rs.459.

The total traded quantity was 17950 compared to 2 week average of 31200.
