Birla Shloka to allot shares of FPO on Jan 27, 2010

Birla Shloka Edutech Ltd has announced that a meeting of the Public Issue Committee of the Board of Directors of the Company will be held on January 27, 2010, inter alia, to approve allotment of 69,55,000 equity shares of Rs. 10/- each for cash at a premium of Rs. 40/- per share (i.e. at a price of Rs. 50/- per share) aggregating to Rs. 34,77,5000/-, to the eligible applicants as per the basis of allotment approved by the regulatory authority on January 25, 2010.

The stock was trading at Rs.46.25, down by Rs.4.10 or 8.14%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.51.70 and low of Rs.46.25.

The total traded quantity was 5305 compared to 2 week average of 34778.
