AXIS Bank allots 336613 Equity Shares under ESOP

AXIS Bank Ltd has announced that the Committee of Directors of the Bank has on January 16, 2010 made the allotment of 3,36,613 equity shares of Rs. 10/- each to the employees of the Bank, under ESOP.

The paid up share capital of the Bank will accordingly get increased to 40,39,69,377 equity shares from 40,36,32,764 equity shares.

The Stock closed the day at Rs.1078.20, up by Rs.16.15 or 1.52%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.1092.95 and low of Rs.1065.

The total traded quantity was 449434 compared to 2 week average of 294368.
