Patni Computer Systems allots 68988 equity shares under Company's Stock Option Plan

Patni Computer Systems Ltd has announced that the Compensation & Remuneration Committee of Directors of the Company vide resolution dated January 08, 2010 allotted 68,988 equity shares of par value of Rs. 2/- each to certain employees including 21,050 underlying equity shares of par value of Rs. 2/- each to Bank of New York as Depository in connection with the issuance of 10,525 American Depositary Shares (ADSs) pursuant to the exercise of ADR Linked options.

The stock was trading at Rs.498.10, up by Rs.5.65 or 1.15%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.504.10 and low of Rs.492.10.

The total traded quantity was 32514 compared to 2 week average of 73474.
