Asit C Mehta approves issue of NCDs

Asit C Mehta Financial Services Ltd has announced that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on December 31, 2009 approved the issue of Secured Non-Convertible Debentures - Series I on a private placement basis amounting to Rs. 50,00,000 (Rupees Fifty Lacs Only). The Board further decided not to list these debentures on the Exchange.

The stock was trading at Rs.58.90, up by Rs.2.75 or 4.90%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.58.95 and low of Rs.58.50.

The total traded quantity was 400 compared to 2 week average of 429.
