Shoppers Stop allots 40 lakh Warrants

Shoppers Stop Ltd has announced that the Committee of Directors (Preferential Issue) at its meeting held on December 29, 2009 has pursuant to the provisions of Chapter VII of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Issue of Capital and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2009, allotted 4,000,000 warrants at a price of Rs. 307.18/- each. Each warrant is convertible into one Equity Share of Rs. 10/- each of the Company.

The warrants were allotted to Raghukool Estate Development Pvt. Ltd. - 1,335,000, Capstan Trading Pvt. Ltd - 1,335,000 and Casa Maria Properties Pvt. Ltd. - 1,330,000.

The stock closed the day at Rs.378, down by Rs.1.05 or 0.28%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.398.90 and low of Rs.376.05.

The total traded quantity was 100160 compared to 2 week average of 71326.
